Fast, honest diagnostics and repairs for backups, broken baffles, and failing components.
Overview
What makes our septic system repair different
Repair is where a lot of septic companies start guessing — and where we don't. When drains slow down or sewage backs up, the symptom is obvious but the cause usually isn't. We diagnose before we dig, figure out which part of the system is actually failing, and fix that part rather than selling you a whole new system you may not need.
Most repairs come down to a handful of causes: a baffle that's rotted off and let solids into the drain field, a cracked lid or tank wall, a failed pump or stuck float on a system with a lift station, or a drain field that's stopped accepting water because it's been overloaded or compacted. We've seen all of it across the Gallatin Valley, and we can usually tell you what's happening before we put a shovel in the ground.
Some repairs are small — a new effluent filter, a replaced baffle, a riser installed so the tank is easy to reach next time. Others are bigger, like a section of drain field that needs to be dug up and rebuilt. Either way, we show you the problem, explain the fix, and give you a straight plan before we start. No mystery, no upsell.
If your repair turns out to be a sign that the whole system is at the end of its life, we'll say so — and we'll talk through repair versus replacement honestly. A repair that buys you more years is sometimes the right call; sometimes it isn't. We give you the information to make that decision, not a sales pitch.

How It Works
Our process
- 1
Describe what you're seeing
Tell us the symptoms — slow drains, odors, backup, soggy ground over the field. The more detail, the faster we narrow it down.
- 2
On-site diagnosis
We locate the tank and field, check levels and components, and find the actual cause before recommending anything.
- 3
Clear repair plan
We show you what's failing, what the fix is, and what it takes — then you decide what to do.
- 4
Repair and test
We do the repair and run the system through its paces so you can see it working before we leave.
FAQ
Septic System Repair questions, answered
- My drains are slow but there's no backup yet. Is that a repair?
- Often, yes. Slow drains are usually the first sign that something in the tank or drain field isn't keeping up. We diagnose the cause before it becomes a backup.
- How do you know if it's the tank or the drain field?
- We check the tank's levels and components first. If the tank is fine but water is surfacing or the field is saturated, the problem is downstream — and we tell you that plainly.
- Can you fix a broken baffle without replacing the tank?
- Usually, yes. A rotted or broken baffle can often be replaced or repaired in place. If the tank itself is cracked or collapsing, that's a different conversation.
- My septic pump stopped working. Do you service those?
- We do. We service pumps, floats, and control panels on systems with a lift station or pumped drain field, and we can tell you whether it's a component fix or a pump replacement.
- Will you tell me if I just need a pump-out instead of a repair?
- Yes. If the tank is just overdue for pumping and nothing is broken, we'll say so — we'd rather pump it than sell you a repair you don't need.
