FAQ
Septic questions, answered
Straight answers to the questions we hear most from Bozeman and Gallatin Valley customers.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I pump my septic tank?
Most household septic tanks need pumping every 3 to 5 years. Tank size, the number of people in the home, and whether you use a garbage disposal all change that. Our When Should I Pump tool gives you a quick starting point.
What are the warning signs my septic system needs attention?
Slow drains, sewage odors, gurgling pipes, extra-green or soggy grass over the drain field, or any sewage backup. Any one of these is a reason to call — backups get worse and more expensive fast.
Does Fuller Septic pump tanks for farms and ranches?
Yes. We service farmhouses, ranch homes, shops, and outbuildings, including rural properties with long access roads. Farmers and ranchers get 15% off all septic pumping.
Do you install new septic systems?
We install complete systems from the ground up. When a lot needs an engineered design — steep slopes, poor soils, or high groundwater — we connect you with a qualified engineer and coordinate the design for you.
What hours is Fuller Septic open?
We are open 7 AM to 6 PM. For active backups and urgent issues, call (406) 451-3734 and we will get you on the schedule as quickly as we can.
What area does Fuller Septic serve?
We serve Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley — Belgrade, Manhattan, Three Forks, Gallatin Gateway, Four Corners, Big Sky, Livingston, and the surrounding area.
